FondleBox — Subscription Box

Overview

FondleBox delivers a monthly box of curated samples straight to the customer’s door. For launch, we designed an invite-led experience built around anticipation — a bold “first come, first serve” hero and a single, frictionless email-capture flow — engineered to build an early subscriber base and create momentum before the doors officially opened.

The challenge

A subscription box is only as strong as its launch: you need demand before you ship a single box. The challenge was to build genuine anticipation and capture a waiting list of interested subscribers pre-launch, using a landing experience that made signing up feel exciting and exclusive rather than like joining yet another mailing list.

Our approach

We designed the launch around scarcity and delight. A bold “first come, first serve” promise created urgency, and a single obvious action — leave your email — removed every distraction. The page had exactly one job: convert curiosity into commitment. Everything from the copy to the composition was tuned to build momentum and make early adopters feel they were getting something special.

Design

The design pairs a striking red hero with playful photography, a crisp value proposition — curated samples delivered monthly — and a frictionless email-capture form as the single focal point. There are no competing calls-to-action; the visual hierarchy points the visitor straight at the one thing that matters, making the decision to sign up feel easy and immediate.

Development

We developed the responsive landing and launch page along with the subscription signup flow, wired for email capture and follow-up. That gave the team a working funnel to grow and nurture a subscriber base ahead of the full rollout, ready to convert the waiting list on day one.

Process & delivery

We treated the launch page as a conversion problem, not just a poster. Copy, composition and the single email-capture action were designed together and tuned to point every visitor at one decision. The responsive page and signup flow were then built to capture and nurture that early interest ahead of the full rollout.

Highlights

  • Bold “first come, first serve” hero
  • Single-focus email capture
  • Clear subscription value proposition
  • Playful, on-brand visuals
  • Responsive launch page
  • Signup and follow-up flow

The outcome

The launch experience is engineered to convert curiosity into commitment — turning visitors into a warm, engaged list of subscribers ready for the very first box. It gives FondleBox exactly what a subscription business needs most at the start: proven demand.

Results & impact

The launch experience gives a subscription business its most valuable early asset: proven demand. By converting curiosity into a warm, engaged waiting list before the first box ships, FondleBox reduced launch risk and started day one with subscribers already committed. That early momentum is notoriously hard to manufacture later, which is why a focused, single-minded launch matters so much.
